Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one of the most popular sitcoms on Indian Television and has been entertaining the audience for several years now with its much intriguing cast.
But looks like the show will be having a major change in the cast now as the lead actress of Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah is reportedly making an exit.
We are talking about Disha Vakani who plays the role of Dayaben in the show.
The actress has become the household name post her portrayal of Daya in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
However, Disha took a break from the sitcom after the birth of her daughter in November last year. It was reported that she was supposed to resume work from March.
And while the fans are eagerly waiting for her return on the screen, the recent buzz states that Vakani wants to focus on her baby and isn't in a mood to resume shooting anytime soon.
Reportedly, the TMKOC is also trying to convince her, however, Disha hasn't confirmed her exit officially yet.
A source reportedly told Spotboye, “We are in touch with Disha to start the shoot. But she has yet not given a nod. Considering her baby is very small, production is willing to be understanding in terms of timing and schedule, like we were in the final months of her pregnancy. But she wants to focus more on her personal commitments at the moment. But we are trying very hard to bring her back on the sets asap.â€
Although an official announcement about Disha's exit is yet to be made, if the reports turned out to be true, it might affect the TRPs for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
