Popularly known for his role as Santosh and Baccha Yadav in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the comedian confirmed the news and said, "Right now for some weeks I plan to take it easy. But in mid-September I start shooting for my new show for SAB TV. I was supposed to do this new show alongside Kapil's show. But now I will shoot only for the SAB TV show’’.
Speaking on spending time with family, Kiku said, "I always spend a good amount of time with my family. So, they aren't complaining. But they soon will start cribbing when I start the daily’’.
After Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma spat broke out in the month of March, leading to the march out of most of the starcast from the show, Kiku was the only member who stood by him.
The Kapil Sharma Show went off-air citing host’s deteriorating health conditions. Although, the viewership was also all-time low since the last few months. In the last month, Celebrities like Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgn had to leave without shooting because Kapil didn’t appear on the sets due to bad health.
