Yeh Rishta Kya Keh Lata is one of the popular daily soaps on Indian television. The show which was launched way back in 2009 has managed to create a special place in the hearts of the television viewers.
The show which has quite a few records to its credit has achieved another milestone. The Star Plus drama has completed 2500 episodes, making it the longest-running show on the small screen.
With this, Yeh Rishta has also become the first show to complete 2500 episodes, which is a feat in itself. The show which stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the lead roles is doing quite well on the rating charts.
The daily soap started with Karan Mehra and Hina Khan who played the role of Naitik and Akshara respectively. The show has taken multiple leaps and introduced several characters over its eight and a half year journey.
Last year, both Hina and Karan bid adieu to the show making way for Shivangi and Mohsin as the new leads.
The current track of the show is focussing on the wedding of Naksh and Keerti and has kept the viewers hooked to their television sets.
Yeh Rishta is followed by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma which has completed 2314 episodes. Balika Vadhu and Saath Nibhana Saathiya also crossed the 2000 episode mark but both the shows have gone off air.
