Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming period drama Padmavati has been the talk of the town and has been often mired with controversies including the postponing of the movie.
From vandalising of sets to delay in shooting, Padmavati team had been through a lot as a result of which there were reports that the movie's release will be postponed.
And now with the release of official posters of Padmavati, the rumors have been confirmed. Padmavati, which was earlier slated to release on November 17, will now be released on December 1.
The new releasing date was announced by Deepika Padukone after she unveiled her look from Bhansali's period drama.
Deepika, who plays the titular role in Padmavati, took it to Instagram, to share the official poster where she looks like a royal Goddess queen.

Well, Deepika's first look has indeed made us curious for the looks of her co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, who plays the role of Allauddin Khilji and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh respectively.
