Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film has been titled ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, announced his son and producer of the movie Ram Charan Teja on Tuesday in Hyderabad.
The motion poster and title logo was released by director of the movie SS Rajamouli at the event called to mark Chiranjeevi’s birthday.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be the 151st film of the 62-year-old.
Informing about the movie Ram Charan said the movie is based on an unsung freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. He is considered to be one of the first freedom fighters in India and his first revolt against the British empire came a decades before India’s first war of independence in 1857.
The motion posters started with burning of a British flag placed on a fort top. The poster further shows that rebels led by Narasimha Reddy siege a fort occupied by the British forces.
The mega-budget film has a huge star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Kiccha Sundeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathy Babu.
The Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman will be giving music and cinematographer Ravi Varman will be handling the camera for the perid-drama.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the second film to be produced by Ram Charan.
The film was launched earlier this month and the filmmakers have plans to release it worldwide in summer 2018.
