New Delhi:
A man posing as a stadium official allegedly raped a 16-year-old kabaddi player, the police said. The case was registered after the victim approached the police on Monday.
The girl in her complaint said that she met the 30-year-old accused at the Chhatrasal Stadium and he claimed to be from the stadium administration, the police said.
The girl alleged that the accused raped her on July 9 and she was suffering from trauma for the last one week, they further added.
The details of the accused could not be provided by the victim, police said. A police team will visit the stadium on Tuesday to scan the attendance register in order to get clues about the accused.
