Amidst the ongoing differences in the party, the Aam Aadmi Party has contacted former Governor of Reserve Bank of India Raghuram Rajan for Rajya Sabha ticket.

As per reports, AAP has planned not to send its core leaders to Rajya Sabha. In this scenario, the chances of Kumar Vishwas joining Rajya Sabha is less.

Founding member of AAP Kumar Vishwas has recently said to a newspaper that party should send him to Rajya Sabha.

Vishwas said that he can be a strong voice in the upper house and he has potential to embolden people’s voice in the Rajya Sabha.

Vishwas is annoyed with withdrawal of suspension of Amanatullah Khan. Khan had earlier said that Vishwas is a BJP agent.

Vishwas had claimed that few leaders in the party are trying to isolate him. However, Vishwas vowed that he will not allow it to happen.
