In a bizarre incident, a mob in Agra’s Thana Dauki village murdered an old lady assuming her to be a ‘wicked woman’. As per claims, several women lost their hair to a wicked woman in the area.
According to media reports, 62-year-old Maan Devi went to urinate at night and forgot the way to her home. Instead of going to her own village, she started moving towards Baghail village. People saw her and considered her that woman who cut hair of several women at night.
A girl saw the old lady coming towards her village and within few minutes she gathered all the villagers. They considered her to be the wicked woman and beat her to death.
