Akshaya Navami, also known as Amla Navami marks the beginning of the 'Golden Era' of Satya Yugadi. The auspicious festival is observed on Shukla Navami day during Kartik month as per Hindu calender. The day is believed to be very significant for all sorts of charitable and devotional activities.
This year people all over India will celebrate the day on October 29 and Amla tree will be worshipped for health, wealth and good luck for rest of the life.
Traditionally Amla tree is said to be the epitome of Lord Bishnu and offering prayers in front of the tree diminishes all kinds of sufferings and benefits people even in next incarnations.
