The hearing of Ranjit Singh murder case against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh in Special CBI court to be continued on Monday.

Gurmeet Singh was present for hearing via video conferencing.  

Security at Panchkula court was tightened ahead of the hearing of murder case against Gurmeet Singh.

At one point of time, Ranjit Singh was Gurmeet Ram Rahim's chief aid. Ranjit was killed on July 10, 2002, by Dera Chief's men.

He was the brother of one of the women who was raped by Gurmeet and was killed on the suspicion that he must have leaked the anonymous letter written by one of the rape survivors to the then Prime Minister (PM) Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
