The menace of 'Blue Whale Challenge' continues, as a 13-year-old boy on Thursday tried to commit suicide after playing the infamous online game.

The student from Chameli Devi School in Indore tried to jump off the third floor of his school. After attending the morning assembly the boy was seen climbing over the railing, but was saved by his friends and teachers as soon as he came into notice.

"Saw that from 3rd floor window a boy was trying to jump while two other students were trying to hold him, we rushed to save", Sheikh Mohammad Farooq, PT Teacher, told ANI.

"Initial investigation suggests that the boy had been playing the Blue Whale game on his father's cellphone for the last couple of days", Additional Superintendent of Police Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi said.

"We think he was tense in the last couple of days, thinking about committing suicide to accomplish the final 50th task of the game", said the police officer.

This disturbing online game has claimed claimed around 150 lives in Russia and Europe. It includes a list of 50 tasks that ends with a claim to player's life.
