Bombay High Court adjourns hearing on PIL related to doctors’ strike till tomorrow

New Delhi:

In the absence of Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, hearing on PIL related to doctors’ strike adjourned till Thursday. The hearing was adjourned because of unavailability of CJ’s bench.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) serves notice to 500 resident doctors on strike and asks to resume work in wake of HC directions as soon as possible else face consequences.

The dean of Solapur government hospital has ordered suspension of 114 resident doctors. It was also ordered by Medical Education Department that if doctors refuse to report to work then their registration can be cancelled.
