BSF foils infiltration bid in Amritsar, 2 armed Pakistanis killed

BSF troops foiled an armed infiltration bid across International Boundary in Ajnala sector near Amritsar, Punjab in the intervening night of 19-20 September, officials said. 

"When challenged by BSF troops, infiltrators fired on ambush line with automatic weapons. Taking cover the fire was appropriately retaliated and infiltrators were neutralized near Border Security Fence," an official statement said. 


Following recoveries have been made along with dead bodies of 02 armed infiltrators from Pakistan side:

A) Heroin- 04 packets (01 kg each) 

B) AK-47 Rifle- 01 
C) AK Mag- 01
D) 7.62 mm rounds: 23 numbers
E) 9mm Pistol- 01
F) Pistol mag- 01
G) 9mm rounds- 04 numbers 
H) Pak mob with SIM: 01
I) Pakistani currency- Approx 20,000/-
