New Delhi:
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday raided at 23 locations in connection with shell companies and Hawala racket.
The CBI sleuths conducted raids at 18 locations in Kolkata while at five locations in Ranchi. The central agency has raided three Income-Tax officials.
The raids have also conducted at premises of Tapas K Dutta, Principal Commissioner, Income Tax Ranchi as a case has been registered against him and six others including a Charted Accountants on the allegations of criminal conspiracy, taking illegal gratification, criminal misconduct.

The raids were also carried out in Salt Lake area of Kolkata.
