New Delhi :

The low visibility on roads caused by Delhi's deadly smog led to a major accident on the Agra-Noida Yamuna Expressway where eighteen cars rammed into each other. Speeding cars rammed into one another, while people on the footpath were shouting and requesting the drivers to slow down.

As per latest reports coming in on the incident, six people were injured from the pile up caused due to the dense smog.

“Six people received minor injuries and were shifted to Kailash Hospital where they were discharged after first aid. None of the persons had received any critical injury,” Dankaur’s station house officer Farmood Ali Pundir said.

Delhi and the National Capital Region continued to be under the grip of a thick layer of smog on Wednesday. While the govt ordered primary schools to remain shut, offices and college commuters were subject to delays in their travel due to low visibility on the roads.

While many opted for traveling by public transport, people who took their cars were also careful while driving. At 7 AM, drivers were seen driving with fog lights on. The shocking video shows cars ramming into each other due to low visibility in the morning.
