Earn Rs 10 after every 3 referral transactions from BHIM App till October 14: PM Modi

Encouraging digital payments, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hoped that Aadhaar-BHIM digital platforms could bring revolution in the Indian economy as it would enable the people to pay digital by using their biometric data on a smartphone.

While launching BHIM-Aadhaar digital payments in Nagpur, the Prime Minister said that the initiative would help people to make payments from anywhere in the world which is astep closer towards “less-cash economy.”

Modi said the step would also help to curb the menace of black money. He said digidhan would become “Neejidhan (private money) in days to come. He said digidhan is cleanliness drive against corruption.

Launching incentive scheme, Prime minister also urged kids to earn money in this summer vacation by asking them to add people and earn Rs 10 after three transaction by the person. He said the scheme would continue till October 14.

“If you add a person to BHIM app, after 3 transactions by the person, Rs.10 will be added to your account, scheme will continue till Oct 14,” Modi said.

On the occasion, the Prime minister also said that each and every Indian should have a house in the next five years.

"We have a dream for 2022. The poorest of poor should have a house of his own. And that house must be equipped with electricity, water and other facilities. There should be hospitals and schools in the neighbourhood,"  Modi said.

 What is Bhim-Aadhaar App?

BHIM-Aadhar App is known as Aadhar Pay as it doesn't require a phone or a bank card, and doesn't need you to be educated while using it. A thumbprint and an Aadhar card are all needed for a merchant to receive customer's payment. This is the biometric push to encourage digital payments in India.
