Kolkata:
The new zonal and suburban railway time-tables of Eastern Railway will come into effect from October 1.
"The time-table for Eastern Railway's zonal and suburban trains would come into effect from October 1, instead of the usual date of June 30 every year", ER spokesman R N Mahapatra said.
The existing time-table that came into effect in June 2016, would remain valid till September 30 this year, he said. 'Trains at a Glance 2017', an all-India time-table for mail and express trains, would also come into effect from October 1, Mahapatra said.
