New Delhi:

The Election Commission on Friday recognised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led faction as JD (U) and entitled them to use the arrow symbol.

It was a big respite to Nitish Kumar’s faction after rebel leader Sharad Yadav had claimed that the symbol belongs to his faction.

JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar expressed his pleasure on winning te symbol, saying that now Sharad Yadav can shout slogan in favour of RJD  president Lalu Prasad.

Notably, Sharad Yadav was not happy with Nitish Kumar after the latter had pulled out from Mahagathbandhan and had joined hands with the BJP to form a government in the state.

After EC’s decision, rebel leader Ali Anwar said that they would go to the people and share the truth.
