Kharagpur (West Bengal):
Two people died while another three injured as gunmen opened fire at Trinamool Congress (TMC)’s party office in Kharagpur (Paschim Medinipur district) in West Bengal on Wednesday.
According to reports, two or three unidentified gunmen reached the TMC office at around 2:30 pm and drove away before an alarm was raised.
The unknown gunmen also hurled a crude bomb outside the TMC office.
Sinu Naidu, the husband of Pooja Naidu, a TMC councillor of ward 18 of Kharagpur Civic body was shot after which he suffered injuries and was admitted to hospital.
