Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday met party leader Gayatri Prajapati in Lucknow District Jail. Just after coming out from Jail, Mulayam said that the leader is being targeted as if he is a terrorist. Gayatri Prajapati has been accused in a rape case.
“False campaign is being initiated against Gayatri Prajapati; he is being targeted as if he is a terrorist,” said Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Earlier, a woman corporator alleged that Prajapati had raped her and attempted to molest her minor daughter in 2014. The Supreme Court directed to register FIR against Prajapati and six others in the case.
