New Delhi:
A girl student pursuing B.Tech from Punjab has alleged of being raped after consuming soft drinks that were mixed with sedatives.
According to the student, she met the accused one Somesh, over social media website and shared each other's photos and phone number.
After their interaction on social media and over the phone, Somesh had called her to meet at a programme in New Delhi and later took her to Lodhi Garden on her arrival.
As per the girl's complaint, Somesh offered him a soft drink that was mixed with sedatives and after consuming it she fell unconscious and the boy took turns to rape her.
Somesh who belongs from Bihar has been arrested after an FIR was registered at Tughlak Road police station.
