New Delhi:

Haryana Police have booked Honeypreet Insan — adopted daughter of jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief — for allegedly inciting violence following the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh at Haryana’s Panchkula on Tuesday.

The Dera chief’s adopted daughter has been booked at Sector 5 police station in Panchkula.

Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla told the media, “She is an accused for inciting violence on the Dera chief’s conviction day.”

Another senior police official not willing to be named said Honeypreet’s name has been included in the same FIR in which other Dera functionaries including Surinder Dhiman and Aditya Isan.

“Raids are being made at different locations to nab Honeypreet,” said Haryana DGp BS Sandhu.

The DGP added that they are in touch with police of other states.
