Gurugram student death: Ryan school administration ignored each norms of Punjab and Haryana HC

Had the administration of Ryan International School, Gurugram followed the norms issued by Punjab and Haryana High Court and police, the tragic death of 7-yr-old boy could have been averted.

According to Mail Today, an RTI filed by Harinder Dhingra reveals that Gurugram Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has no record whether the bus operators were examined by the department for complying their buses to ply and if their staff members were verified.

The boy, a Class II student, was allegedly killed by a bus conductor, Ashok Kumar, who also tried to sexually abuse the minor. The accused was arrested hours after the gruesome murder.

 In the reply against a query whether the school buses are fulfilling the norms as per 'Surakshit School Vahan Policy' which was formed by the Punjab and Haryana high court in 2013, the office said that the daily buses inspection is filled by te transport-in-charge itself of the respective school and the no such record is available with the office.
