Art is one thing that can bind two countries irrespective of the tensions and differences that exist between them. Indeed, art has the power to bring unity among the people of two countries. Both India and Pakistan are celebrating their 70th Independence Day. A popular Facebook group, ‘Voice of Ram’ has used the medium of art to wish our neighbor on Independence Day.
Voice of Ram has collaborated with the Indian Acapella Band Voxchord to present a Capella version of Pakistan's national anthem, Pak Sarzamin.
The video starts with the line- “This is our way of wishing you, Happy Birthday Pakistan”. One can see the group members holding placards in
their hands which say they are dedicating a song to our neighbors Pakistan.
The efforts of these people need to be lauded as they are trying to bring the people of both the nations together.
