Chandigarh:
The state of Haryana sets the focus to become polythene-free.
To make the State polythene-free, directions have been issued to Haryana's Industries and Commerce department to find alternatives for polythene, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Tuesday.
He was speaking at a workshop of members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies in Panchkula, near here.
He said the state would have to be made pollution-free for which people would have to change their behaviour.

Haryana has claimed to have become kerosene-free as the supply of the fuel has been stopped under the public distribution system from April 1.
