Himachal polls 2017: CM Virbhadra Singh says next govt too will be of Congress

New Delhi:

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Thursday said that he is confident that Congress party will be victorious with full majority in elections.

The chief minister said,” I am confident of getting the majority in the election and the next Government too will be of Congress.”

Virbhadra and his son Vikramaditya Singh cast their votes at a polling booth in Shimla.

Virabhadra is contesting against a political greenhorn Rattan Singh Pal of BJP in Arki constituency of Solan district after leaving the Shimla Rural seat for his son Vikramaditya Singh.

Confident of victory, the 83-year-old Congress veteran had not visited the constituency after filing his nomination papers.
