Former Haryana BJP chief Suraj Pal Amu, who announced Rs. 10 Crore reward for anyone beheading Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has once again spewed venom after Supreme Court suspended four states’ ban from Bollywood film Padmavat.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court paved the way for Padmavat’s Januray 25 release by staying film’s ban order in four BJP ruled states - Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Reacting to the top court’s order, Amu said “the Supreme Court today has hurt the sentiments of lakhs of Hindus.”
“Our struggle will continue weather I will get hanged. India will break if the movie releases,” Suraj Pal Amu, who resigned BJP after Bhansali beheading incident.
Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria also seemed not satisfied with the apex court's decision and said his department will look for 'legal' ways to not let the movie release in Rajasthan.

"We respect the Supreme Court's decision, will abide by it. My department & I will look for a legal provision, if one is possible, after reading SC's decision and then we will move forward," Kataria said.
The members of Rajput community in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur also issued stern warning against the release.
“Queen Padmavati is our pride and prestige and they will face consequences if the movie releases in Chhattisgarh. We will set every cinema hall showing Padmavat on fire,” threatened a Rajput community member.
