New Delhi:

In INX Media case, the Supreme Court adjourned the matter till November 16 on Thursday. Karti Chidambaram will not be allowed to travel abroad in near future.

The Supreme Court asked CBI to respond whether Karti Chidambaram could be allowed to travel abroad for 4-5 days and what can be the conditions imposed on him so that he does not escape.

The CBI will respond in the next hearing.

The apex court read the documents sent by CBI carrying evidences against Karti. The court indicated that the documents carried details of 6 bank accounts belonging to Karti.

However, the CBI advocate Tushar Mehta requested Judge to not make the documents public.

Karti’s advocates Kapil Sibal and Gopal Subramanium strongly objected to the Mehta’s requests. They said that unless Karti would come to know what CBI has presented, how come he will be answering it.

The advocates said that they are ready for questioning but CBI is not calling them. After court’s order, CBI called him for two days and questioned for 5 hours.
