Income Tax officers on Thursday raided former union minister SM Krishna's son-in-law VG Siddhartha’s properties in Karnataka. The IT officers also raided Café Coffee Day chain. Siddhartha is owner of Café Coffee Day.
Over 20 locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Chikmagalur being raided by IT officials.
Coffee Day Enterprises is India's largest coffee retail chain. VG Siddhartha is said to be among the country's largest exporters of coffee bean.
SM Krishna has recently joined BJP after serving a long time in Congress. Krishna has also served as Chief Minister of Karnataka.
