New Delhi:
Jammu and Kashmir policeman Salem Ahmed Shah, who was abducted by the terrorists from his home in Kulgam on Friday night, has been found dead.
The bullet-ridden body of Khan, a constable, was recovered by security forces from a field in Qaimoh Gath area of the district on Saturday evening, according to ANI.
“Our colleague Salem Ahmed Shah was abducted and killed by terrorists in #Kulgam. We condemn this cowardly act. We all stand by his family at this critical juncture,†Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

The tragic incident came nearly a month after the terrorists abducted and killed an Army soldier from south Kashmir. Rifleman Aurangzeb of 44, Rashtriya Rifles, was going to his home for Eid celebrations when some terrorists intercepted the private bus he had boarded and abducted him.
