New Delhi:
An Air India express plane skidded off at the Mangalore airport in Karnataka on Sunday morning due to bad weather. The flight 814 which was carrying 185 passengers on board, veered off the runway slightly while touching down.
An Air India official said, "The aircraft suddenly took a right turn while touching down due to unfavourable winds." The matter has been reported to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, he further added.
However, no casualty was reported as the aircraft's pilot landed the plane safely. No damage was found after the inspection of the plane, the official said.
