Karnataka congress leader TP Ramesh caught misbehaving with woman party worker

Congress leader TP Ramesh has landed in a controversy after he was caught on camera holding hand of a woman leader inappropriately publicly during Independence Day program in Karnataka’s Kodagu district.

New Delhi :  

Congress leader TP Ramesh has landed in a controversy after he was caught on camera holding hand of a woman leader inappropriately publicly during Independence Day program in Karnataka’s Kodagu district.

Ramesh was the president of Congress’s Madikeri unit and currently chairman of silk board.

In the video congress leader is seen smiling and misbehaving at the MLC leader Veena Achaiah.

Achaiah showed sign of discomfort and pushed the silk board chairman’s hand as he touched her.

The female leader told the local media that she was shocked with the incident. However, she has not lodged any complaint of harassment with the local policement.

She further added, “They were discussing about organising a health camp. He then suddenly touched my hand.”

Achaiah further added that she has never been ill-treated or harassed by anyone in the party.

She further added that the congress leader has apologised to her.

Ramesh talking to the local media that Achaiah is like her sister.

“She is like my sister. I had no intentions to harass her. I have apologised her and if she wants me to apologise in public I will do it,” said Ramesh.
