PM Narendra Modi, BJP MPs observe day-long fast to protest against Parliament washout

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Along With Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs Started Their Day-long Fast On Thursday To Mark A Protest Against The Complete Washout Of The Second Phase Of Parliament’s Budget Session.

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs started their day-long fast on Thursday to mark a protest against the complete washout of the second phase of Parliament’s budget session.

Party Chief Amit Shah is also conducting a sit-in Karnataka’s Hubli while Union Health Minister J P Nadda is fasting in Varanasi. The 'Loktantra bachao Upvaas & dharna' started from 10 am and will continue till 5 pm on.

The Congress also held a nationwide fast on Monday to protest against Dalit atrocities and incidents of communal violence in the country.

The BJP blamed the Congress for the failed Parliament session and accused the party of not allowing any debate or discussion in the two houses of Parliament.
