BJP president Amit Shah on Monday hit back at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for his "dynast" remark in US, saying that it is a tradition of the Congress party and not of India.Â
In his inaugural address at the BJP national executive, Shah said the current president, vice president and the prime minister had reached their position due to their work, despite their humble origins.
Shah said the economy was stronger under this government than it was under the UPA and cited figures to make his point, Union minister Piyush Goyal told reporters while briefing them on the party president's speech.
While addressing a press conference, BJP leader and union minister Piyush Goel said the government is relentlessly working in the interests of the poor.Â

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address party leaders and workers on birth anniversary of Hindutva icon Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at Talkatora stadium on Monday.
