After the Election Commission’s decision to give “cycle” symbol to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s faction, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s name plate changed in Samajwadi Party’s office.
Mulayam Singh Yadav will play the role of guardian to Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh has been declared as National President of Samajwadi Party.
Earlier, the Election Commission had decided to give cycle poll symbol to UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav-led faction of Samajwadi Party.
The first act of UP CM Akhilesh after this victory was to visit his father Mulayam Singh Yadav and seek his blessings even as the supporters celebrated his victory outside 5KD. Later, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted: 'Cycle chalti jayegi, aage badhti jayegi'.
