NITI Aayog meeting: PM Modi assures Centre's assistance to flood-affected states

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired the 4th meeting of the Governing Council of the Niti Aayog at Rashtrapati Bhawan to discuss the implementation of his government’s flagship schemes relating to various sectors.

“Looking forward to the 4th Governing Council meeting of @NITIAayog tomorrow (Sunday). Implementation of key policies relating to a wide range of sectors will be discussed during the meeting,” Modi tweeted on Saturday.

The Governing Council of NITI Aayog is the premier body which looks after the work done in the previous year and deliberates upon the future national development priorities, sectors and strategies.

The day-long meeting was attended by Union Ministers, Chief Ministers from the states, Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories and senior officials from the Centre.
