In a tragic incident, a man committed suicide in Noida by jumping in front of an upcoming metro train at the Sector 16 station. He was taken to a local hospital in a very serious condition and succumbed to his injuries.
This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in the metro train. A 22-year-old woman had allegedly committed suicide in April after jumping in front of a moving train at Ghitorni Metro station in New Delhi.
Officials said the incident was reported at about 10:40 AM when a train going towards Samaypur Badli was entering the platform No-2 of the station.The unidentified woman was killed on the spot after she allegedly jumped before the train, they said, adding police is investigating the case.
