Gopal Baglay, Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said that diplomatic channels between India and China have never been impeded and it was never broken.

While addressing a presser, Baglay said National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval will be visiting China for BRICS NSAs meeting.

Baglay said India wants a peaceful solution of Dokalam issue through talks.

Baglay said it should be left to diplomats as they are good at, instead to get involved that which side has made offer or who reacted or not.

While reacting on ceasefire violations by Pakistan, he said that India has protested to Pakistan in writing.

“We've told Pak that our troops don't initiate ceasefire violation but they do have to respond to unprovoked firing from Pakistan side,” he said.
