A BSF jawan was injured on on Friday after Pakistani Army violated ceasefire in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The violation took place between 7-7:30 am in the morning. The personnel of Border Security Force have retaliated.
On Thursday, Pakistan had violated the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera sector in Rajouri district. One woman was killed while her husband had sustained serious injuries in the incident. According to ANI, Pakistan had used 120 mm mortars.
Of late, a bullet-ridden body of an army lieutenant Umar Fayaz was found in Shopian district's Herman area in South Kashmir. Fayaz was abducted by terrorists on Tuesday following which he was shot dead and his body was disposed.

The SDM of Nowshera tehsil had issued an order to close all the schools near the Line of Control after shelling from the Pakistani side of the border.
"All schools close to the LoC were shut in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district as a precautionary measure today following the death of a woman and injuries to her husband in shelling by the Pakistan Army", PTI had quoted a senior police officer as saying.
