New Delhi:
Day 5 of Parliament’s budget session part 2 is expected to see continued disruptions over the results of Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa.
The second part of the budget session, started last week after a month long break, has been facing ruckus over the alleged hijacking of election by BJP in Manipur and Goa. The party ruling at Centre had secured minority seats in the results, however managed to persuade independents and local parties to stake claim to both the governments.
The Houses, however, did manage to pass the crucial Enemy Property bill in between disruptions, first in Rajya Sabha and later in Lok Sabha.
Apart from scheduled bills, the Health Minister JP Nadda is likely to make a suo-moto statement in Lok Sabha on the proposed National Health Policy, which was cleared by Union cabinet on Wednesday.
