Hardik Patel says viral video is morphed, BJP is playing dirty games

With countable days left for Gujarat Assembly elections, a four-minute long video has gone viral on the social media with date stamp of May 16 showing a man engaged in intimate position with a woman. It has been alleged that the man visible on video to be Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) chief Hardik Patel.

With countable days left for Gujarat Assembly elections, a four-minute long video has gone viral on the social media with date stamp of May 16 showing a man engaged in intimate position with a woman. It has been alleged that the man visible on video to be Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) chief Hardik Patel.

The 24-year-old PASS chief on his defend tweeted and told the media that news channel broadcast saying it features him is not authentic and is evidence of ‘dirty politics’ being played by BJP.

The Patidar leader claimed that the viral CD has been uploaded from a foreign country and was doctored. "It is a morphed video. BJP is trying to malign me in the society."

Patel on Twitter in hindi tweeted, “Dirty politics has begun. I don’t have issue if you malign me but with this video Gujarat’s women are being insulted.”

He also tweeted, “23-year-old Hardik has grown up. Crores are being spent to malign my image. Do whatever you wish I will carry on with my fight.”

Earlier on November 10, the Patel had showed concern that the BJP might try to defame him with an alleged  sex CD in order to make electoral gains. He then had said, “BJP has prepared a doctored sex CD. They are planning to release it before the elections.”
