Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday targeting Narendra Modi said that the prime minister should answer on farmer and jobs instead of protecting people behind alleged Rafale scam and making allegations in Parliament.

The Congress president termed PM Modi’s speech in Parliament as a ‘political campaign speech’. “He seems to have forgotten that he is the  Prime Minister and not an opposition leader,” said Rahul Gandhi.

The Congress leader further alleged that PM Modi did not answer to the questions asked. “He made a campaign speech in the Parliament. He spoke for more than an hour but did not did speak on issues before the country. The PM did not utter a single word about the Rafale deal,” said Rahul Gandhi.

“The country is looking for answers from the Prime Minister but he is not answering. He in the Parliament not answering to people’s question but instead asking questions,” added Rahul Gandhi

He also requested PM Modi to speak against Congress party in public rallies and not in Parliament.

Senior Congress leader and former party president Sonia Gandhi asserted that PM Modi in his speech at both the Houses  repeated old things.

Sonia Gandhi said, “People are interested about their future and jobs.”
