Sonia Gandhi, 71, seems to be enjoying her retirement after stepping down as Congress president. A photo is doing rounds on the social media, where one can see the former Congress president enjoying a bicycle ride.
Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh has tweeted the photo with the caption, “Some pictures make you happy... this is one of them. Wishing Sonia ji happiness and best of health.”

With Rahul Gandhi taking reins of Congress, the former party president reportedly left for a vacation to Goa on December 26.
Sonia Gandhi talking to reporters had announced her retirement soon after Rahul Gandhi took charge as Congress president on December 15.

Sonia Gandhi was elected the Congress party president in 1998 and has led the party for around 19 years. Rahul Gandhi was announced the new party president just before the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections.
