New Delhi:
Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday got injured when the stage collapsed during a function in Digha locality of Patna.
Lalu had gone to Digha Ghat locality to attend a religious function and the stage on which he was standing collapsed suddenly.
Overcrowding on the stage was the reason behind the incident, said police.
Lalu sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) for treatment. Senior doctors conducted medical check-up of the RJD supremo.
