Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal (United) are heading for a massive showdown over the resignation of Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav after an FIR registered by CBI against him in a corruption case.
If sources are to be believed, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar is adamant to remove Tejashwi Yadav while RJD is not ready to stoop before JD (U)’s demand. It is being said that if Nitish sacks Tejashwi, all RJD ministers will resign from the government.
Meanwhile, RJD leader Manoj Jha said that there is no question of him resigning.

Sources say that RJD can extend outside support to the government.
A few party insiders say that RJD will not accept the formula of removing Tejashwi from the cabinet.
The national executive meeting of Janata Dal (United) will take place on July 23.
The CBI had registered a corruption case against Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejaswi Yadav; former Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Managing Director P.K. Goyal; and the wife of Lalu's confidante Prem Chand Gupta, Sujata on allegations of awarding the tender for development, maintenance and operation of hotels in Ranchi and Puri in 2006.
