Guragaon:

A sessions court in Haryana’s Bhodsi on Monday rejected the bail plea of a 16-year-old student, accused of killing a seven-year-old boy at Gurgaon’s Ryan International School last year, saying that the stage was not fit for granting bail.

Meanwhile, the CBI filed a charge sheet against the accused teenager. The agency has mentioned that they have found fingerprints of the class 11 student accused in the murder of the class II boy.

The investigative agency also mentioned that that the teen’s mobile data also established his guilt. The court was also informed by the agency that they have established the source of the knife and CCTV footage also reinforced the student’s role.

Additional Sessions Judge Sabir Singh Kundu dismissed the plea of the accused.

The juvenile is accused in his pleas contended that he deserved the benefit of statutory bail on ground that the CBI has failed to conclude its investigation within the prescribed limit of 60 days.

The bail submission was opposed by advocate Sushil Tekriwal, appearing on behalf of seven-year-old victim said, “The application was devoid of any merit.”

Earlier on December 20, the Juvenile Justice Board had held that the teenager would be tried as an adult and directed that he be produced before Gurugram Sessions Court.

The class 2 student was found with his throat slit in the school toilet on September 8. The CBI had taken over the case on September 22 amid allegations that the police had botched up with the investigation of the spine-chilling murder. .
