New Delhi:

Haryana Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Thursday doubted Central Bureau of Investigation’s probe in murder of Ryan International School’s student Pradyuman Thakur. He said that it is difficult to believe in CBI’s findings that the murder was executed by class XI student.

“I still can't believe that it was done by the Class XI student. I would just like to reiterate that there must be an impartial probe. Neither people nor I can believe CBI's findings,” Rao Narbir Singh.

Earlier on Wednesday, giving a new twist to the case, CBI said that a class XI student of Ryan International School killed seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur to postpone school examinations and parent teachers meeting.

CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said, "The student was apprehended after thorough investigation based on scientific evidences including inspection of crime scene, forensic analysis of CCTV and call records."

A CBI official, not willing to be named, told News Nation that the student told his fellow classmates not to prepare for examination as there will be a holiday in school prior to Pradyuman’s murder.

The officer further added, the 16-year-old was seen carrying a knife. “The class XI student was undergoing psychiatric treatment from last one year.”
