New Delhi:

The chaos and confusion created by fringe groups across the country surrounding the movie Padmavaat should had never happened, said News Nation Managing Editor Ajay Kumar after watching the special screening for journalists on Tuesday.

Movie ‘Padmaavat’ is scheduled to release on January 25 across the world.

Ajay Kumar said the movie is a must watch for everyone. “The royalness of the movie attract eyes of the audience. The thrilling story narrates our proud history,” added managing editor.

“The movie has every ingredient which shows the Rajputana majesty, honour and dignity. The protestors should thank Sanjay Leela Bhansali for making the historical drama,” he added.

Pradeep Sardana, a film critic, backed Kumar and said, “Several movies have been made on Rajput kings. But no one has made a movie of such magnificence, which shows the glory of Raputana history from the first scene to the last one.”

“Earlier too, serials and movies have been made on Rani Padmavaati. But the way Bhansaali showcases the movie and glory of the queen… it was missing in earlier movies,” added Sardana.

“On macro level it is a history but in micro level the movie is a friction,” says Proff. P K Sachdeva.

Historian Dr Raja Ram said that people who will watch the movie seeking for historic evidence will be depressed. “The movie is not based on history, it is just inspired by it.”
