New Delhi :
All Government and Private schools in Punjab will remain closed from November 9 to 11 while in Uttar Pradesh, Aligarh District Magistrate has directed schools up to Class 8th in the region to be shut on Thursday and day after due to the severe smog condition.
In national capital Delhi, Delhi Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday had informed that all primary schools will remain closed on Wednesday and if needed will extend order until day after.
District Magistrate Ghaziabad had also directed all schools in the region to shut on Wednesday and day after on account of air pollution.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had on Tuesday predicted dense to very dense fog in the morning hours of Wednesday over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and a few places in West Uttar Pradesh.
