After the merger of both AIADMK factions-O Panneerselvam and E Palaniswami camps- in Tamil Nadu, a political crisis erupted on Tuesday in the state when 19 MLAs came out in support of TTV Dhinakaran (relative of jailed party general secretary V K Sasikala) and met governor C Vidyasagar Rao. The MLAs said that they have lost their confidence in Tamil Nadu chief minister E Palaniswami.
Thanga Tamil Selvan, AIADMK MLA, told media that they have no confidence in Tamil Nadu chief minister and conveyed the same to the Governor.
Around 10-15 MLAs have sent to a resort in Pududcherry. P.Vetriivel, MLA of Dinakaran-Sasikala camp said there priority is party. He said, “govtmay come and go but we have to safeguard party.”
